Inspired by past-generation of photographic printing technology, the 24-inch subli-trans™ PRO 7880 Wide Format Dye Sublimation Printer incorporates forward-thinking designs with a breakthrough new 8-colour ink technology, resulting in a final print of uncompromising quality.
The 8-colour ink configuration includes three black inks and with three paper paths, it supports a wide range of roll and cut media for superb edge-to-edge photo quality prints. The 7880 features permanent Micro Piezo™ print head, Variable-sized Droplet Technology™ and Epson´s 3.5pl Ultra Micro Dot™ for superior detail. Superb reproduction is offered with perfectly neutral grey scale prints, very wide colour gamut and smooth tonal graduations.
With Eight-Channel MicroPiezo® AMC™ Print Head you have a design capable of handling eight separate ink channels with a one-inch wide high-performance print head with 180 nozzles per channel. Simultaneously used Black, Light Black, and Light Light Black inks significantly improves the printer´s gray balance while eliminating colour casts.
subli-trans™ dye sublimation inks are exclusive to GJS Machinery and are licensed for use in the patented dye sublimation process - offering you complete peace of mind. Purchasing a printer 24” or larger from GJS Machinery also means you are authorised to purchase ink at large format prices which is over 70% cheaper than standard desktop format sublimation ink.
Used with our professionally created ICC colour management profiles subli-trans inks provide stunningly accurate and consistent colour control management.
