Charges now vary depending on whether the card: is present at the transaction; from an online/phone/fax order; a premium Gold/Platinum card; or a corporate/business card. Consequently, we have been advised that as of February 2008 these differentiated charges will now be passed on to us, the merchant, at higher rates.</p> <p>Rather than hide these increased charges into higher product prices or add further complexity at time of order, we are now forced to pass on a flat 2.0% credit card surcharge to ALL credit card transactions – this excludes debit cards.
