Fotechem 2085 Haze Remover Liquid

FOTECHEM 2080 is an efficient, high-alkaline and dense paste, white. It is water based and does not contain solvents.

FOTECHEM 2085 is a slightly alkaline, solvent based, emulsifying liquid with a low evaporation rate. It does not contain harmful ingredients and has a pleasant odor.

Applications

• The system should be used as a combination of both products: FOTECHEM 2085 and 2080.
• Together they remove
  • most ghost pictures
  • stencil residues
  • stubborn ink stains
• They are a perfect, easy to use, fast and vigorous system for the cleaning of all meshes after stencil removal.
• FOTECHEM 2080 paste alone serves as a mesh degreaser and in addition as aluminium frame roughener.
• FOTECHEM 2085 liquid alone can be used as a screen wash.

Direction For Use

• After printing remove ink and ink residues before drying in.
  • Apply by brush FOTECHEM Degreaser 2003 to speed up the following stencil removal action. This is not a must but a most valuable help.
  • Removal. Use standard commercial decoaters or better the FOTECHEM Remover in paste (FOTECHEM 2005) or liquid form (FOTECHEM 2004). For machine decoating use FOTECHEM liquid concentrate 1:30 (FOTECHEM 2042) or 1:20 (FOTECHEM 2040).
• Then: for stubborn ink and stencil residues:
  • Brush FOTECHEM Regenerator 2085 from both sides onto the mesh. FOTECOAT brushes are ideal.
  • Let stand a few minutes. The longer the better. However never more than 30 min. The mixture of FOTECHEM 2085 and FOTECHEM 2080 must not dry in on the mesh for less stubborn ink and stencil residues:
  • Apply FOTECHEM 2080 with a brush from both sides and let stand maximum 30 minutes. The paste must not dry in on the mesh.
• Finish:
  • By rinsing both sides with a soft water spray (do not start with high pressure water for safety and health precaution).
  • Followed by a thorough high pressure spray from both sides. Only the mechanical action of the water pressure removes the softened stubborn stains.
  • Repeat action if necessary.
